body safe
- Body safe was run by cinnamon and eliza &laura they came in our class week1 -4 every wednesday
- In BodySafe, we learnt about...... consent and non consent
- It was difficult for me to....understand what alcohol & and drugs can do to u
- It was good how we.... all gave our opinion and our ideas and team work
- It was good how rhe educators....
- The best thing about BodySafe was... meeting cinnamon and eliza and laura and learning new things
- If someone was to ask me about BodySafe I would tell them.... to give consent before u do anything
- bystander - a person who is present at an event or incident but does not take part.
- do not slut shame - slut shame is when a person calls a girls a slut for sleeping with 2 boys
- ground rules- you haft to be 16 and over
- sexual violence - is when someone gives no consent and forces u to have sex\

Great that you wrote about the law where people under the age of 16 cannot give consent, there is some other times like if someone is too drunk or high or if there is any form of force, pressure or threat involved where people cannot give consent also.
Slut shaming is a way of shaming mostly women for positive sexual experiences, it's not often that men are seriously shamed for having multiple partners and this means it's a double standard. If people are having positive and respectful sexual experiences and there is consent, no one should be shamed for that.

ReplyDeleteThis is so awesome, you remember so much from our classes! I love that you are having conversations with other people about consent if BodySafe comes up. Even normal everyday conversations with friends can often be really powerful sources of social change!
